BEERS AND FEARS: THE HAUNTED BREWERY by Tim Meyer, Chuck Buda, Frank Edler and Armand Rosamilia

There’s an abandoned building in northern New Jersey with a rich, haunted history. Ghosts. Demons. Monsters of all kinds. It was once an asylum for the criminally insane, a craft brewery, and most recently - a decrepit eyesore that should have been demolished years ago. A place where evil dwells. A venue that feeds on the souls of all who enter.
It’s five o’clock somewhere, but here, it’s always just after midnight. So come. Have a drink. Just don’t stay too long. Because here, there is no last call.

And Matt Schwartz has this to say about the latest installment of CHUCKY: Regarding the Child's Play remake -- it was an interesting choice, though ultimately perhaps not the correct one, that rather than remake the original Child's Play, they instead recreated the "Funzo" episode of the Simpsons (really). Say what you will about the original series -- it's inconsistent but joyously subversive and crazy (especially the insane Bride of Chucky and Seed of Chucky entries). But this remake feels way more by the numbers with some questionable design choices for the doll. It definitely is more of a comedy than horror, but substitutes gore for intelligence. Watchable, but totally forgettable. I give it a C.

BLANCHE BAKER SPEAKS OUT ON THE GIRL NEXT DOOR I hadn't intended on re-covering so much of THE GIRL NEXT DOOR.  I've certainly visited this dark place enough times.  But I feel this film carries with it a impact that's as important as ever and because I can't offer you coverage I have without letting you listen in on a conversation I had with Blanche Baker on bringing evil Ruth to life, I leave you with this interview.  You may already know Blanche Baker as a lady who is eclectic in her working life. Her acting experience spans from such memorable roles as Ginny in Sixteen Candles to costarring with Arnold Schwarzenegger in Raw Deal and a plethora of solid characters in between. Armand Rosamilia Makes the Call On Zombie Lit - Here To Stay?

Miami Spy Games Is Zombie Lit Dying? Armand Rosamilia I hope not is my short answer. Obviously, everything goes in cycles and zombies are the hot thing right now, especially with The Walking Dead ruling the television landscape. At some point it will jump the shark and be the next vampire backlash craze. In movies we're already starting to see the lame zombie comedies ( Shaun of The Dead was amazing, but not much more) and mediocre cash-ins about zombies. But what about literature? I'm not only a writer but an avid reader. There are many, many great authors I love to read and look forward to their next book. Authors I've mentioned a million times, but they bear repeating because they put out solid zombie tales: Joe McKinney, Mark Tufo, TW Brown, John O'Brien, Dave Jefferys, Ian Woodhead, etc. I've also run into quite a few other writers that keep putting out new ideas in the zombie subgenre without going over the tried and true 'people of
