ENTER THE AFTER OBSESSION FAN TRAILER CONTEST!

We loved Carrie Jones and Steven E. Wedel’s AFTER OBSESSION—the sizzling romance, the haunting small town, and the spine-tingling chills kept us up all night after reading it! And we REALLY loved putting together a book trailer that captured so much of what we loved about the book. In fact, we loved making this particular trailer so much that we want to share that excitement with you—by offering YOU the chance to create YOUR VERY OWN BOOK TRAILER for AFTER OBSESSION!

Help us celebrate next week’s paperback release of AFTER OBSESSION—with a fabulous new cover!—by creating your very own trailer for AFTER OBSESSION! Here’s how it works:

  1. Grab a copy of AFTER OBSESSION by Carrie Jones and Steven E. Wedel and read at least the first few chapters (warning: reading a few chapters may result in reading straight through the rest of the book!)
  2. Put pen to paper and write a short script—probably between 50 and 200 words.
  3. Grab a video camera and some friends to film, or look on the web for images and music you can use. We recommend using stock websites like iStock.com, GettyImages.com, or Shutterstock.com—please do not take images or sound files from the internet without permission to use them! Some artists on DeviantART.com also list stock images—just be sure to look at their individual image policies to make sure it’s okay for you to use the image you like.
  4. Choose your favorite video editing software and get started! If you don’t have video editing software, you can get a free copy of Movie Maker for Windows here:http://windows.microsoft.com/is-IS/windows-live/movie-maker-get-started
  5. Upload your finished trailer to a public site like YouTube or Vimeo (not Facebook, please), and share the link on our page by 11:59 pm on November 30, 2012. Include your email address in comments so we can contact you if you win!
  6. Be sure to watch the other fan-made trailers and share the ones you think are great!

The fan who submits the most creative trailer will win a copy of AFTER OBSESSION with the new cover, plus a gorgeous gothic necklace so you can dress like you’re possessed (with good taste!). So what are you waiting for? Lights, camera, action—obsession!

Miami Spy Games Is Zombie Lit Dying? Armand Rosamilia I hope not is my short answer. Obviously, everything goes in cycles and zombies are the hot thing right now, especially with The Walking Dead ruling the television landscape. At some point it will jump the shark and be the next vampire backlash craze. In movies we're already starting to see the lame zombie comedies ( Shaun of The Dead was amazing, but not much more) and mediocre cash-ins about zombies. But what about literature? I'm not only a writer but an avid reader. There are many, many great authors I love to read and look forward to their next book.
